Why do we have Supplemental Reading pages? 

Answer: Because the handbook had strict page limits on what would be published (to keep the handbook a handbook, and prevent it from being a tome)

  • written in the style of the popular "___ for Dummies" series;
  • containing a succinct  discussion of the the law, for busy, practical, lawyers;
  • containing proven tips and tactics for attorneys on both sides of the fees award controversy;
  • about half the pages to be text, the other half to be forms; and
  • not more than 200 pages long.
